Position Overview:

We are seeking a Safety Advisor with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the construction industry with working knowledge of utilities and traffic management operations. The role will involve supporting site teams across live construction environments to ensure compliance with Irish health and safety legislation and best practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide practical health and safety advice across construction projects, including utilities and traffic management works
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and compliance monitoring
• Assist in the preparation, review, and implementation of Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Construction Safety Plans
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, producing reports and corrective actions
• Deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and safety briefings
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Authority (HSA) requirements and company procedures
• Promote a positive and proactive safety culture on site

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience within the construction industry
• Working knowledge of utilities and traffic management
• Recognised Health & Safety qualification (Minimum Level 7 or equivalent)
• Good knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation
• Experience preparing and reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements
• Safe Pass (mandatory)
• Full clean driving licence
