Course Overview
This 1 Day Emergency First Aid Training Course is suitable for anyone who might have to respond to emergencies in the home, workplace, or community. This emergency first aid training course will also enable learners to act as a backup to qualified Occupational First Aiders in the workplace.
How is the training delivered
This course is delivered onsite, at our premises, as it is face-to-face training. Training Courses can also be delivered privately at your premises at any time.
This course can also be delivered online as a one day course delivered over Microsoft Teams.
Aim
Training Methodology
Our training includes both practical and interactive learning, giving all participants the confidence and ability to put theory into practice and to cope with real-life situations that might arise in the workplace, at home, or in the community. Our Emergency First Aid Training Course Instructors have years of real-life practical experience in emergency care services and tutoring all levels of learners for all types of backgrounds.
Course Content
Participants will receive comprehensive training covering:
- Basic Principles of First Aid
- Scene Management
- First Aid Equipment
- Shock/Fainting/Unconsciousness – Focusing on the Recovery position
- Asthma Attack
- AED/CPR
- Stroke
- Heart Attack
- Bleeding & wounds
- Burns & Scalding
- Bandaging
Certification
On successful completion of this course, participants will receive a certificate titled “Emergency First Aid Training” which will be awarded by DSSL. This Cert will be valid for 2 years.

The maximum number of users per course is 12.
